Abuja Residents In Darkness Over Technical Faults

Some parts of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have been thrown into total darkness following a technical fault at a power station of the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).

However, going to 48 hours, the residents, including those in Suncity, Ammsco, Wonderland, Human Right Radio, Kings Park 4, Maccido, Kabusa Garden, Same Global, Golden Spring Estates and surrounding areas are still in darkness.
Part of the notice from the DisCo incharge, AEDC reads, “the current power outage is due to a technical fault at the Kukwaba Transmission Station, owned by the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN).

“The TCN maintenance crew is working tirelessly to rectify the fault and restore power supply as quickly as possible.”

According to some of the residents who spoke with Metrobusinessnews.com, (MBN), the fault developed since Monday and no communication since then, until yesterday

However, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) says TCN maintenance crew had been working tirelessly to rectify the fault.
