The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has inaugurated a new Lagos Provincial Headquarters in Ikorodu just as the Pastor-In-Charge of Region 26, Pastor Nath Adejuwon counselled Nigerians to draw closer to God in other to achieve a greater success in all their endeavours. The new Province, which is known as Lagos Province 98, has Pastor Sunday Adeniyi as Pastor in Charge of the new Province and is situated at Agbele, Ikorodu Grammar School area, Ikorodu, Lagos State.

Speaking at the inauguration of one of the three Provincial Headquarters approved by RCCG Governing Council for Region 26 (Royal Family) in Ikorodu, Lagos on Sunday, August 28, Pst Adejuwon noted that no pastor in RCCG mission is expected to fail despite the challenges facing the country saying Nigerians can still achieve a bigger success.

Pastor Adejuwon in his sermon titled ‘Achieving Success’ reading from the book of Joshua 1:8 and Prov 14: 34 said that all leaders should not allow titles to change their lives because they did not choose God, but God chose them. He further emphasized the fact that it is more difficult to manage success than failure.

Pastor Nath told over five hundred congregants who attended the event physically and connected virtually the reasons why God promotes His Children which are: so we could find Him; so that our life can be testifying to His glory (I Sam 2:1); so we can be encouraged to go further; so that we can know that God is dependable particularly in time of trials and temptations; so that we can know that God is ever reliable; so that our joy can be full. God also promote to humble us His children; he said

Pastor Adejuwon, who inaugurated the newly created Lagos Province 98 (Living Hope Headquarters) on behalf of the church’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, said that a leader should pay attention to the followings in order to succeed, he must love his brethren genuinely, lead by example -integrity; pray for them; humility must equally be his watchword always; he must be heavenly focus; he should not have any double standard- no tribalism; he must have intimacy with God; not be proud to ask questions, he must not rubbish his prayer life, continue to abhor pride, wary of sin and be careful of lukewarmness.

He also use the medium to appraise his leadership roles in Region 26 (Royal Family) since the inception of the family, he stated that the Region 26 commenced with 8 Provinces but now 11 provinces while 7 Senior Pastors in Charges of Zones have been promoted and 3 Assistant Provincial Pastors were also promoted to Pastor in Charge of Provinces.

The Regional Pastor who lauded the courage and giant stride of the Pastor in charge of Lagos Province 33, Pastor Ololade Salami and his team said that ‘his performance are indeed worth celebrating today for listening to instructions and following the Lord steadily. Even when it is painful as one of the steps to divine favour in life.

In his opening address, the Pastor in Charge of Lagos Province 33, Pastor Ololade Salami expressed his appreciation to the Regional Pastor for creating enabling environment with captivating story of utmost significance, in that the attainment of this feat is a fulfillment of a dream conceived.

The new province comprises of 102 Parishes including 22 Areas spread across Ikorodu, Lagos State. The event had in attendance various dignitaries which include the National officers; Pastors in Charge of various Provinces, Zones, Areas and Parishes in Region 26, members and other well-wishers. The church of Jesus Christ is marching on. All glory to God
