Buhari replaces Enang as Senate liaison officer, retains Shehu, Adesina as spokesmen

Ita EnangSenator Ita Enang may no longer serve as the Senior Special Assistant, National Assembly Matters (Senate) to President Muhammadu Buhari.

This is as emerging reports say that the former senator, from Akwa Ibom state, has been dropped and replaced.

It was leant that Senator Christopher Babajide Omoworare, Osun East senator in the 8th Senate and a chieftain of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC), will now serve as Buhari’s new Senate Liaison Officer.

Meanwhile, Enang is said to have been offered another appointment and may likely sever as Buhari’s Special Adviser on Niger Delta Affairs.

It was also learnt that both Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina have been approved by Buhari to retain their positions as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity and Special Adviser, Media and Publicity respectively.
