The Osun West bye-election is scheduled to hold on July 8 to fill the space created by the demise of Late Sen. Isiaka Adeleke.

Omoworare charged the Osun West senatorial district voters to see voting as their civic responsibility which must be taken as mandatory.

Omoworare described Husain as an experienced Senator with over 12 years legislative experience.

“It is rather unfortunate that late Sen. Adeleke is no more with us, and that nature harbours vacuum.

“However, the time left for the completion of the life of this 8th Senate and the technicalities of its business must be considered as we go to the poll,” the Senator said.

“Senator Husain is up to the task at hand, his 12 years experience as a legislator and having represented Osun West at the Senate before remains an advantage and edge above other aspirants,” he said.

He charged the people to eschew violence and other acts contrary to the dictates of the electoral act.

He equally charged all contestant to conduct themselves as statesmen and political stakeholders without desperation.

Omoworare enjoined the voters to reciprocate the good work of the Ogbeni Aregbesola led APC government in the state with their votes and keep faith with the party at both state and federal level as the APC strives to fulfil it’s electoral promises.

He said that it was time for the people of Osun West to reward the good works of the APC government by casting their votes for Senator Mudashiru Husain, the senatorial candidate of APC.
