The Federal Government has approved a whistle blowing policy to protect those who provide information to government on violation of
policies or acts of corruption in government agencies.
The policy was approved by the Federal Executive Council during its meeting, minister of finance Kemi Adeosun, told journalists at the
post FEC briefing…
The person who blows the whistle on any financial related matter will get five percent of the money as a reward, only after it has been
authenticated
The policy is meant to protect those who put themselves at risk by making certain disclosures…
“We are hoping that we will recover some of the money that have already been stolen through this policy” Adeosun said.
