Unknown Gunmen abduct PDP chieftain in Benue

GunmenA Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) chieftain Ben Akile in Benue, has been kidnapped by some unknown gunmen along the on Katsina-Ala road in the state.

According to an eyewitness, Paul Unande, who reported the development to journalists on Monday, September 23, the criminals kidnapped Ben Akile on his way from the Zakibiam area of the state, The Nation reports.

Unande said that the PDP chieftain was with one of his aides, some members of the party in the state in a vehicle when the assailants carried out their attack and kidnapped him.

It was gathered that the kidnappers robbed the victims of their cash and valuables before abducting Akile.
