The allocation, contained in the 2026 Appropriation Act, is listed under the ministry’s headquarters capital projects and forms part of several constituency projects captured in its budget.

According to the budget document seen by TheCable, the ministry earmarked N140 million for the “construction and rehabilitation of emir palaces and mosque(s) in Birnin Gwari/Giwa federal constituency, Kaduna state.”

The allocation is among a number of projects outside the ministry’s core mandate included in the 2026 spending plan.
