The nomination forms were submitted on the president’s behalf by his Special Adviser on Political Affairs, Ibrahim Masari, during a brief event attended by APC leaders at the Continental Hotel in Abuja.

Masari announced that President Tinubu had completed the party’s nomination process and would once again contest the presidency on a joint ticket with Shettima in the 2027 general election.

The submission of the nomination forms officially confirms Tinubu’s bid for a second term and signals the APC’s decision to maintain the Tinubu-Shettima ticket for the forthcoming presidential election.
