The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi , at Chatham House, United Kingdom, on Monday said he would declare war on power to end the prevailing darkeness, occasioned by epileptic power in the country.
Obi stated this when he shared his plans for Nigeria if elected as president on February 25.
The former Anambra State governor explained that should anyone stand on his way in the process of entrenching uninterruptable power supply to the country, the person stands to regret such action for life.
“I will declare war on power and if anyone stands on my way, sorry,” he declared.

Obi added that he and his running mate, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed will stick to reforms policies and commitment to the rule of law.The presidential candidate expressed sadness that over three million Nigerians are still in Internally Displaced Persons, IDP, camps in Nigeria, some of whom he visited during Yuletide saying “As far as there are Nigerians in IDP, all of us are in IDP. That will not be allowed to happen. There will be no sacred cows. It will be level playing field for everyone,” he promised.
