Some of the motorists were enraged  after discovering that their fuel tanks were pumped with adulterated petrol at the Magboro filling station in the area.
Also, the petrol attendants subjected customers to pay N180/litre while displaying N165/litre
One of the attendants who was using calculator sold 16.6 litres and collected N3000, though it was reading N2740 or so.
When one of the victims got back to complain about the damage ocassioned by the adulterated product, they became hostile insisting that they don’t sell adulterated fuel.
But, some of the mechanics who tested the fuel in Arepo confirmed that the product was adulterated.
But investigations by the platform showed that the outbursts of the station staff were not encouraging and as such some of the customers have vowed not to buy fuel from the station henceforth.
