Signature de trois accords entre le Niger et la Banque mondiale

Le Niger et la Banque mondiale ont signé, mardi 01 juin , trois accords de financement d’un montant de 345 millions USD, à l’occasion de la visite du vice-président de la Banque mondiale pour l’Afrique de l’ouest et du centre, Ousmane Diagane.

La signature des trois accords a eu lieu au cours d’une cérémonie à laquelle a assisté le Premier ministre nigérien Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou.

Le premier accord, d’un montant de 175 millions USD, porte sur un projet d’amélioration de la connectivité au nord-est du Niger, principalement la réhabilitation et l’entretien des routes entre Zinder et Agadez.

Le second accord, d’un montant de 130 millions USD, concerne la lutte contre la pauvreté à travers le projet des filets sociaux.

Enfin, le troisième accord, d’un montant de 60 millions USD, porte sur un projet d’appui au pastoralisme.
