CharlyboyNigerians on social media have reacted to report that the co-convener of ‘Our Mumu Don Do Movement’ Charlyboy collected money from Festus Keyamo, spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council, to attack Atiku before the presidential election.

DAILY POST recalls that Adeyanju on Wednesday revealed that Charlyboy confessed to him that he collected money from President Muhammadu Buhari’s camp to attack Atiku before the presidential election.

Adeyanju also threatened to release audio evidence of his conversation with Charlyboy on the matter, if he refuses to accept the truth.

However, Charlyboy, while reacting, did not refute or accept the new allegation by Deji.

In an audio obtained by SaharaReporters on Thursday, Charlyboy was allegedly heard saying he met with Festus Keyamo and collected money from him.

He, however, did not state if he collected the money in order to attack Atiku Abubakar.

But, reacting to the development on Twitter, some Nigerians accused Charlyboy of “fraud while others wondered if Nigerian activists are ‘hungry people pretending to attack the government.”

Metrobusinessnews has curated some comments from Twitter about this turn of events:

@pascaloz, ”@areafada, MONEY! The root of all evil. Once you collect, you don compromise be that. The question here is, did anybody collect money from the oppressors? Nobody collects ROJA and still remain Normal. Our Mumu don de laff Us o.”

@charlescedars, ”I never knew MMM cash out is possible in Activism until now. ”

cynthia_ish, ”@areafade, those allegations are too damning for you to still be playing it cool. You know trust is a big issue in this country and so such allegations coming from a former team mate would definitely have some kind of effect on the minds of those who believe in you. You have to say something extensive about this and soon. Don’t react though but find a way to address it maturely.

@PurpleHirbiscus, ”If the allegations against Charlie Boy are true. It’s needless to say that all Nigerian ‘activists’ are ‘cashtivists’. They are just waiting for the ripe opportunity.”

@scanaranbaxy, ”I am Highly disappointed, Charlie Boy. @adeyanjudeji We will have to regroup. And this time Stronger and better, hopefully all traitors will be put to Shame.”

udyislife, ”@areafade I am Disappointed,in what capacity were you seeking support from Keyamo?is Keyamo Different from Buhari?chai 9ja last last according to falz everybody na Hypocrite.

dujibombay, ”Charlie itara Azu APC or Not? You chop APC cake or not? That one Na wetin we wan hear. E be like money dey inside attacking government, me I go start my own o.”

@obrienthagreat, ”You collected money from @fkeyamo, so foolish an act.
This is a sign that most if not all activist in Nigeria are just hungry animals searching for goldmines in the very issue they criticize. Oshiomole, CharlyBoy, Soyinka, Keyamo, June 12 and subsidy crusaders. Hungry Creatures!”

@GeorgeKakayor, ”Key Lesson from Fada’s incidence: Agents of oppressive govt will always seek to ENTRAP you that oppose them. Do offer them a sit or bid them farewell.#Snakes.”

@Hakmed90, ”So the our mumu don do is a fraud from day one. It is not a support for good government or betterment of the citizens but a campaign for Atiku which went soar abi. God go catch una one by one.”

@jacksonpbn, ”During the period Deji Adeyanju was in prison, Charly Boy was suspiciously quiet. The dude was mute. No word, not even a protest. He was calling those around him Mumu while he goes around lining his pockets. Such a shameless old boy!”

@MrOdanz, ”The two major conveners of “Our Mumu don do” campaign are dragging themselves in the media as being the NUMBER ONE MUMU in Nigeria. Deji says Charly boy is the number one mumu in Nigeria. And vice versa. It is a mumu tournament guys. I am loving this game.”

@Deji_OoniAbj, ”Charly Boy collected money from Buhari while Deji was locked up?Nigeria has lost it finally. The masses need to wake up and fight for themselves”.
