APC—Endorses Sen. Uzodinma, Dapo Abiodun For Imo, Ogun Governorship Race Respectively
Adams Oshiomhole, chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress ( APC ) disclosed on  Friday that the party has resolved to drag the Independent National Electoral Commission to Court to assert its right to field contestants for governor and other national and state assembly positions in Zamfara State.
The party may have resorted to legal action following refusal of INEC to accept the party’s candidates due to what it regarded as lack of prim art elections in the state.
Meanwhile, the party has confirmed  endorsement of  Senator Hope Uzodinma and Dapo Abiodun as its governorship candidates respectively for  for IMO and Ogun  in the 2019 general election.
The developments may have set the stage for likely reactions from the governor’s of the two states who have been at loggerheads with the leadership of the party.
