A former Commissioner for Finance in Kebbi State, Alhaji Muhammed Bello Tugga, is dead.

The former commissioner who was the village head of Tugga in Bagudo Local Government Area of the state, died yesterday.

He was buried immediately according to Islamic rites.

Confirming the death, Mu’azu Dakingari, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, said the governor prayed Allah to grant Tugga aljanar Firdausi and the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

He also said: “the late former commissioner was on admission at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) in Birnin Kebbi for three days for an undisclosed ailment before he passed on.”

The late Tugga served as Commissioner for Finance and later Works and Housing during the Dakingari administration from 2007 to 2015.
