Business Becomes Easier in Nigeria, But It’s Still Tough: Chart

Nigeria became an easier place to do business, jumping the most among Africa’s biggest economies in the World Bank’s Doing Business ranking. The oil producer improved its position by 24 places, but is still rated 145th out of 190 countries as securing electricity supplies, registering property and trading across borders remain challenging. South Africa, which vies with Nigeria to be the continent’s biggest economy, fell eight places to 82.
