Ambode voted at the Ogunmodede Junior/Senior College, Epe, after his accreditation.

He said measures  have been put in place to ensure a peaceful election.

“I urge all Lagosians to exercise their franchise and vote to choose representatives who will lead us at the grassroots,” he said.

Outside of Epe, reports on the polls were mixed.

In Okota -Isolo axis voting did not commence until after 10’oclock, due to the late arrival of electoral officials.

The early downpour must have been a contributing factor.

The  turn out of voters was poor at some of polling booths. Children  were seen playing football. However, the turn out of voters was impressive at poling booth 012 and 013 OKOTA.

Police vans blasted sirens while  patrolling the streets.
