Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, did not give reasons for the postponement in a statement issued on Friday.
The statement only said a new date will be announced in due course.

Buhari had on 16 April 2021 returned to Abuja from the trip to London where he met his doctors.
Since the announcement of the trip Nigerians have criticized frequent trips and the fact that the nation’s dwindling foreign exchange is being lost to medical tourism.
Particularly, they have continued to query the huge amount allegedly being spent on infrastructure at the neglect of medical infrastructure.
Reno Omokri, social commentator and former aide to former president Goodluck Jonathan had as usual criticized the earlier announcement insisting that if the president exceeds July 10, he should be ready for another #Harassbuhariout of London demonstration again.
Nigerians are eagerly waiting for the next move of the president as the trip, according Adesina is only being postponed.
