AT A GLANCE: 22 house of reps bills assented to by the presidency since 2015

The administration of President Muhmmadu Buhari has signed a total of 25 bills since it took over power in May 2015.
Of the 25 bills assented to by the presidency, 22 emanated from the house of representatives. Yakubu Dogara, the speaker, had set up a committee to identify bills which were to be updated.
Following the identification of some of these bills, the house passed 130 through first reading in December, and few months after, another 100 bills were introduced.
As of January 2017, the house had passed at least 150 bills; all of which have been transmitted to senate for concurrence.
