Newly-appointed Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle will arrive Nigeria on Sunday to sign his contract.

Chelle will be accompanied by three of his trusted assistants

The assistants, DAILY POST reports, were with him when he managed the Eagles of Mali and recently Algerian club, MC Oran.

The 47-year-old was named Super Eagles head coach by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Tuesday.

The young tactician has been handed the onerous task of ensuring the Super Eagles qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup which will be co-hosted by Canada, Mexico and USA.

The Super Eagles are winless in Group C after four games.

The West Africans will be away to the Amavubi of Rwanda when the qualifiers resume in March.
