The emerging sports sensation, Robert Lewandowski is looking forward to meeting and possibly surpassing records of sports legends of Ronaldo and Messi at the UEFA Champions League.
This is because Lewandowski is currently the first-ever footballer to score a hat-trick for three different teams in the Champions League.
He has been one of the world’s deadliest strikers in the last decade.
The Polish goal poacher showed his knack for goal scoring in incredible performances like his 5 goals in 9 minutes against Wolfsburg in 2015 and his 4 goal performance against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League back in 2013.
His sinscilating form shows no sign of slowing down despite being in his mid 30s.
The 34-year-old hitman scored his first hat-trick for Barcelona to lead them to a resounding win over the champions of the Czech Republic.
With his three strikes, Lewandowski became the first-ever footballer to score a hat-trick for three different teams in the Champions League, having previously achieved the feat with Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
Robert Lewandowski’s 89 goals makes him the 3rd all time Highest Goal scorer in history of the Champions League, only behind Messi (125 goals) and Ronaldo (141 goals).
