Muhammadu BuhariNwoha Amaechi, former speaker of Imo House of Assembly on Tuesday, urged Igbo people to vote massively for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.

He also said that only Buhari’s presidency could guarantee Igbo presidency come 2023.

“Apart from Buhari, no other person is the shortest road for Igbo presidency.

“If Buhari wins, Igbo people will better position themselves, after four years, instead of eight years,” Amaechi said.

Nwoha, who is the immediate past Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC)  Chairman, said Buhari’s victory would be victory for Igbo.

He explained that it was also very imperative, not for only Igbo people but also Nigerians, to consolidate on Buhari’s achievements in the past three years by re-electing him.

Amaechi, who scored the APC-led Federal government high on security, also said the economy was stable and growing.

According to him, Buhari has shown integrity and competence in the management of scarce resources.

He called on Igbo people to rise to the occasion in order to avoid “political isolation” in future.
