Amanokha said the revenue was generated from the use of facilities at Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

”The ministry would have been able to meet the target of N24 million if the renovation work at the main bowl of the stadium was completed,” he said.

The Speaker, Rt Hon. Kabiru Adjoto, expressed dismay on the growing cases of young girls engaging in prostitution, particularly around the Ihama road axis of Benin city.

Adjoto urged the Commissioner to ensure that the ministry rid all the adjoining streets around the legislative quarters in Benin City of girls waiting for prospective customers.

Responding, the Commissioner said that he was not aware of activities of the girls around the Ihama road axis, but said that the ministry would do a surveillance around the area to address the problem.
