Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State has commended the Chairman of Stanel Group, Mr Stanley Uzochukwu, for fuel availability, accurate metre and for maintaining official pump price of N145/litre in Awka while other stations either have no product or selling above N185/litre in the wake of fuel scarcity in the country.

Stanel World, Akwa is witnessing unprecedented crowd and queue seeking for better services, especially in this era of fuel scarcity because it is the only mega centre not only selling the scarce product at its official pump price but also maintaining accurate metre, making fuel available and rendering other luxury services 24/7.

It would be recalled that the prevailing situation of petrol unavailability across the country has caused untold hardship to Nigerians prompting the intervention of government ahead of the yuletide.

The luxury centre is peoples’ choice in Awka because of the first class services it renders to the public. Some are there to take petroleum products, picking bread from the bakery, refreshing in the Stanel eateries (Chicken Republic) while others are there fixing their luxury cars in the company’s car clinic and wash, seeking for laundry at laundry, seeking for booking for the event centre, shopping at the Supper Market, Farmers’ Market, etc.

Recently, the company also unveiled Café service at Stanel World, Awka, providing first-class relaxation services and entertainment to its teeming customers.

The governor and his entourage were received at the Café by Uzochukwu yesterday where a Nigerian popular musician, Flavour, ushered in the guests with a live music on stage. In his entourage were the Speaker, Anambra State House of Assembly, Commissioners, SSG, party leaders and other dignitaries.

Endorsing the bread made in the company’s bakery, the governor ordered that everyone at the premises (customers and passersby alike) should be served with the bread while relaxing at the Café with his entourage.
