The weekly Federal Executive Council(FEC) meeting which would have been the first President Muhammadu Buhari would preside over upon returning from London has been suspended.

A source within the Presidency disclosed.
However,Buhari would later in the day receive the report of the probe panel set up to investigate the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,Babachir Lawal and the National Intelligence Agency,Director General,Ayodele Oke.
The probe panel was chaired by the Vice President,Yemi Osinbajo.
It had since concluded its assignment but was yet to submit its findings to the President since he was out of the country on medical vacation.
Buhari’s decision may seal the fate of Babachir Lawal who was fingered in illegal contract scams involving the Presidential Initiative on North East(PINE) for internally displaced persons.
While Oke, the embattled NIA DG who was alleged to have siphoned about $43.4million in a porch home in Ikoyi Lagos State would also know his fate today.
