He gave the advice at an obituary session in honour of late Chief Babatunde Adebayo,a pioneer member of the state Assembly on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti.
According to the pioneer speaker, the law will also be made available for the present members when they will not be there anymore.
Also, a pioneer Chief whip, Alhaji Abubarkar, described the deceased as an organised man who was always on the side of peace in the Assembly.
Another former Speaker of the House, Mr Gbenga Odebunmi, urged the present members to always hold meeting with former members, regardless of political affiliation, with a view to sharing experiences.
The Speaker of the House, Mr Adeniran Alagbada,who impressed satisfaction on the testimonies of senior members of the House on Adebayo, urged the lawmakers to live exemplary life worthy of emulation.
The daughter of the deceased, Mrs Mojisola Daramola, commended the House for organising the occasion in honour of her father.
